About Me

I grew up in Soledad, a small agricultural town in California’s Monterey County. Life there taught me discipline early on — I’ve been playing soccer since I could walk, and I’ve always been drawn to things that challenge me both mentally and physically. My first real spark of curiosity for tech hit me in high school, in a dimly lit computer lab where I wrote my first lines of code. That moment shifted my path completely. Since then, I’ve been chasing that same sense of possibility — the idea that I can build something from nothing and use it to solve real problems.

Outside of computer science, I try to stay grounded and active. I love hiking and lifting — there’s something about pushing your limits physically that mirrors the problem-solving process in coding. I’ve also taken up boxing as both a discipline and an outlet. Gaming is another passion of mine, especially when it comes to strategy or co-op games that involve teamwork. Above all, my family is at the core of who I am. They've supported me through every step, and every goal I set is with them in mind. Whether it’s a tough trail or a tough algorithm, I carry their support with me wherever I go.
